in 2024, one of the main feedback we got from you all is that you wanted SigmaOS to feel faster and more responsive.
we heard you – so we worked hard to rebuild parts of SigmaOS behind the scenes to make the app MUCH MORE RESPONSIVE
this will be particularly noticeable if you were using MAGIC MODE (if not, you should, it’s pwetttyyy).
so what changed for us?
🔮 magic mode is now orders of magnitude faster thans to our new dynamic color caching system
↔️ resizing your window should faster thanks to our new system to measure window size
⚡ left panel opening and closing was sped up
🐭 mouse hovers should feel more responsive
🔍 lazy search is now more responsive
🚀 general app performance, thanks to new ways of computer corner radii, an enhanced view hierarchy, and reduced re-renders
